Gordy Erickson
Gordy shared his classification talk with the group which included some fun facts on his family. He shared that his mom grew up, over 90 years ago, in North Dakota in a one-bedroom sod home where her parents raised 6 kids.
Gordy himself was born in Staten Island and grew up on the East Coast. He moved to the Midwest to attend college at UW Stout. Gordy taught high school in Wisconsin but eventually moved to the Twin Cities Area where he worked as a Headhunter. This is where he met his wife Laquita.
Gordy and Laquita will be married 31 years this year and they have one son, Andrew, who just graduated with a master’s in data security.
Gordy and Laquita purchased Lakeville Trophy in 2002, and they have focused on expanding from team and individual trophies to a variety of products.
