Each month of the school year, the Lakeville Rotary Club recognizes students of the senior class who demonstrate “Service Above Self”.

Lakeville North High School has chosen Alexis Tousignant as the November Rotary Student of the Month.   Alexis has a high GPA and is ranked number 6 in a class of 445.  Alexis is captain of the soccer team at Lakeville North High School and is captain of the soccer team club.  She is a member of National Honor Society and a member of HOSA.  Alexis is a member of the National Guard as well as very active at her church.

Alexis volunteers at the Kenwood Trail Middle School Library, as well as on Eagle Scout Projects.  Alexis volunteers at Feed My Starving Children and also at her church food drive. Alexis’ parents are Lisa & Mark Tousignant and her Dean is Paul Donner.

For the month of November, Lakeville South High School has chosen Jessica Kath as the November Rotary Student of the Month.  Jessica has without fail been an excellent school citizen and positive role model at Lakeville South High School.  She was quiet and reserved when her dean Dana Cronin first met her and before she even started at LSHS, but she flourished into a competent and confident young woman.

Jessica is the captain of the mock trial team, member of student council for 4 years, member of the National Honor Society, and president of the chemistry club. She coordinated student activities as junior class officer, senior class officer, and senior class president. On top of all of that, Jessica has earned her Girl Scout Bronze Award, Silver Award and is currently working on the Gold Award.

Jessica’s parents are Paul Kath and Kathe Wingert and her Dean is Dana Cronin
