Four Areas of Emphasis/Strategies
- Excellent meetings drive attendance and membership.
- Memorable speakers for “invite a guest days”
- Time for interaction, fun
- Entertainment at Paul Harris dinner
- Master of Arms is important
- Change things up once in a while. Occasional jokes…
- Don’t put too much on the meeting agendas
2.Give members opportunities to be involved
- Do a major project this year – significant $ contribution, visible in the community, Rotarians do some of the work
- At large attendee invited to board meetings.
3. Public Relations – More visibility in the community
- Newspaper ads each month
- Press releases on scholarships, Strive, Taste of Lakeville, Lakeville Foundation donations, etc.
- Visible, permanent projects with Rotary “stamp”
4. Communication
- President e-mail to the club after board meetings
- Short informational presentations when appropriate
- Budget, Taste of Lakeville summary, Foundation giving
