Nerea Puereta
Nerea. A year. She left everything behind including her family and decided to take a plane and cross the ocean to another part of the world, ignoring all the fear, the insecurity, the uncertainty.
Nerea thanked the Rotarians for making this year possible and shared photos of her expereinces within the community and new family and friends she encountered.
She had many goals for her year with one being to join the softball team which she did in Lakeville.
Pat Arling presented Nerea with two softballs signed by the Lakeville Rotarians as a memory of her time with us.
