Jeff Long, Lakeville Police Chief. In college Jeff had an original interest in Political Science but due to some influence of a friend and mentor he became a CSO (Community Service Officer) for the City of Edina. He was hired as a police officer in the city of Fridley for a few years and his career brought him back to Edina where he served for over 20 years as a patrol officer, detective, sergeant, lieutenant, deputy chief and police chief. When not protecting Lakeville Jeff likes spending time with his children, extreme sports, and touring baseball stadiums.
